no it's a six speed, and i know how it works with the buttons for TC. It wouldn't break loose in the first place if it was on. I'm doing like 100' of posi sideways but when I shift to second it won't let me right away

If it's just in tc off the first mode it will let you spin some what. But when it's in completive mode it's all off for goodmthe display will say competive mode

Hmm. If everything is off and both icons are lit up on the dash then you should have zero interference from TC.

I've never had a problem shifting to second when sideways... driver error?

you do have the m6 i have the m-10 maybe it's different? but I doubt it
