How do you guys cope with storing your cars? I'm already dreading the thought of putting her to bed for months...

This will be my 5th winter in the 2011 SS. 7th if you count the two I did in a 2010 2LT.

This is a great car for winter, just get the right tires. And when precipitation clears...always nice to hammer it through the gears on a cool winter day

Long 6 months. It doesn't get any easier either because you've done it before. This will be my 4th winter. Did it 2 years with my 45th and 2 years with my 1LE.

Well, we complain about the heat sometimes here in Florida but... The car has A/C and I get to drive year round

Favorite time of year coming around now down here in SW Florida. I'll be driving it more now that rainy season is over!

I'd cope by moving to a warmer climate. I drive year around here in Tucson

I'm ready for New England winter, this past spring I got a set of SS wheels and put on some Pirelli Winter Scorpion tires. I'll probably only drive on those days like White_RS/SS said, on sunny days and the roads are clear....I might just test them out when we get a light dusting of 6 inches or so

WAY more fun in winter. Let the motor suck in some air between 38º - 55º. Much better than 90º+ swamp air summer. Tire grip is a separate issue but we already beat that subject to death. First morning under 70º in five months is TODAY!

I love winter. the LS3 screams with joy.

I bought a brand new Ford Focus ZX3 back when I was a grad student, and its exhaust system rusted completely. I showed it to the dealer, and they said it's OK. I moved to Florida after graduating, and when the dealer saw the car for an unrelated issue, they were shocked to see the exhaust's condition, and changed it under warranty

In (West) WA, it's not as warm as South California, but it never gets too cold, either. We have an advanced water draining system along with the sewage, which regulates the rain waters. However, since the rain water goes to the rivers, ocean, etc. untreated, using salt could kill the Salmon colonies. Long story short, they don't use salt here! They usually end up announcing holidays instead, and that if it happens to snow hard during that few weeks period where it might snow.

It gets cold here, snows occasionally but is usually gone in a few days. I do love the 50* mornings! SS runs like a raped ape! Traction is in the toilet though....
