See I thought he was trying to suggest that the commemorative edition taillights are what they are going to use on the new 2016 model, which I'm about 99.9% sure is not correct.

This is spot on. I'm not a huge fan of the lights either. I can deal with them but damn, that license plate area and the incredibly bland, boring diffuser is just sad to look at. It looks unfinished to me.

If I were to buy a 2014 model, the first thing I'd be replacing is that diffuser, preferably with the one from the Z/28, as that one actually looks good. Just that change alone, makes the Camaro rear look much better, but I wouldn't say it takes the rear end as a whole from dud to hero.
