Made my first 1/4 mile pass

And here you can see the misery. Was only able to make one pass, probably won't be going back to that track in the future, but that's another story.

Track was prepped well. Cleaned the tires off, pulled up to the line, and my nerves got me. Popped the clutch at 3k, tires stuck like a fly trap, and bogged hard. Ran through the gears okay, but short shifted into 4th (now I know that shift should have never taken place) AND MISSED THE SHIFT so the short time and trap speed are off.

60 FT ------- 2.2738
330 ------- 5.9366
1/8 ET ------ 8.8252
1/8 MPH ----- 85.45
1000 ET ----- 11.2637 (My personal best is 10.98 in a 98 SS M6, so that's my best reference)
1000 MPH --- NONE
1/4 ET ------ 13.4459
1/4 MPH ----- 102.60

Definitely need to get some seat time.

What's a solid realistic 60 foot? 2.02 seems like it should be attainable, right?

Dang, looks identical to mine. I ran for the first time yesterday at darlington dragway. Seat time is key and learning tree. Frickin wheel hop out the ars. Our times look same but I hit 109 mph. Hope you had fun though. I was more nervous getting my car to run than I was once I staged lol.

Definitely had fun, but lack of organization at the track only allowed for a single pass. I used to race a lot, but haven't run in years, and have never run 1/4 mile.

Oh, I forgot to add to my original post: Stock M6 with the exception of muffler delete.

Yah, mines tuned,LG's,intake and ptb. I believe I can easily shave a second off my time, or any experienced driver could. I left @ 2500 and damn near stalled it. It was all me. There was a lot of bikes, I thought there would be some cars but I was the only one. It was fun, first time to a track.

Leviathan, was that you that I met at LMP?

I had the '13 SS that was black, buddy with a white '13 5.0, the yellow LS1 GTO, and the black WRX.

Yes we did. We went and got some food, then got to relax the rest of the evening. It was a nice end to a somewhat disappointing day.

Did yall leave or hang around? I think I remember you leaving behind me...
