I dont think you will notice a 5-10hp gain. I am all for the gains that beeing said! I havent notice nothing from 2.5''(stock NPP) to full 3'' exhaust Xpipe(LT 2'' in both cases). Maybe in the 10hp range and thats in a very agressive H/C setup.

Boosted with a stroker motor, definitely.

Just wanted to share some install info.

First, the headers look awesome. The 2" tubes are monstrous. The metal is a thinner, lower quality alloy than my ARH headers, but IDK if that's a bad thing. As you can see the welds are terrific and the mounting flange is nice and thick (TWSS).

You can see on the driver's side that the primaries don't come near the steering shaft knuckle, or the rubber boot.

On the passenger side, mine didn't hit the frame. In the pic it looks like it, but there is an air gap, it's just hard to get the phone to capture it. I did opt for the thinner MLS factory gasket, the included paper gasket may be thick enough to push it out closer.

Another thing I thought was we'll thought out is the primary tube placement in regard to the spark plugs. There are no problems getting plugs, or tools, in there to swap them out. That's nice.

Awesome job Josh. Wish mine had better clearance on the passenger side. Still rubs. Yours looks like it’s sitting against the frame in the picture. Let me know if yours sounds tingy when you drive it. Could be from the thinner wall tube. Never had it with the 17/8” headers.

Very nice job, looks great. I want to upgrade mine so bad, just got to pay off the forged 416 motor, blower, etc... That I had to put on my credit cards, next year I will get these headers and bigger injectors 1200cc to upgrade my 950cc currently. I'm currently running 1 3/4" headers on my setup, that's a 416 ls3 stroker running a ESS tuning centrifugal G4 blower on e85. Making in the mid 900's rear wheel HP, so I need these bigger 2" headers.

Here's a clip of my car.
