Told a guy driving a Ford F150 I get 32MPG at the pump today.
His facial expression was priceless.
GM N10 exhaust, CAI Inc. CAI, 54 MPH (Cape Cod speed limit on main highway is 55 MPH). I commute so the MPG is pretty important obviously. Bought the car 6 weeks ago Sunday, and I have 6300 miles on the odometer. Glad I didn't get the 2.92 2LS, because RS package |

You average 1000 miles a week? That's one heck of a commute.

I get 19-20 mixed, and if I'm real gentle 26-27 highway. Hoping to squeeze out a bit more when I install my HF cats.

Yeah its about 4 hours a day of driving, but its a Camaro so I love every second of it.
My MPG overall has gone down since the air intake made the car sound so much better :P |

I too used to drive for the fuel savings (500+ miles a week) My '12 hard top 1lt put out awesome gas savings. Fast forward to today, due to the fact that I now have a company truck, I might put about 20 miles a week on my new 'vert. Ya I still went with the V6 mainly because I just love the performance value of this model compared to the V8.
The main difference now is the fact that I never even pay much attention to the fuel savings anymore because I now just drive it for pleasure. Ya I know I am saving some fuel $$$ but I really don't care anymore.

How many times a week do you fill up? That is some serious $$$ even at 32mpg. Heck, my 91 Jetta TD gets 50mpg and I can go 700 miles to a tank. At that mpg it would be a fill up once a week. Not to mention 4hrs out of your life behind the wheel. But like you said, it is in a Camaro so all is good.

Nice.. I have gotten high 20s when going on trips.
But that is with spirited driving.. 70 to 80 consistently and also punching it to 100 every once in a while.. Its nice..exhaust, intake, headers sounding like music together..over 300 horses and still having gas in your tank after a 4hr trip lol. That 6 life

Wow 4 hours a day of driving is crazy! In my case I spend around 20-30% of my time on the freeway and average anywhere from 18-20 MPG. Right now I'm at 16.7 MPG.So it's really not that good in my case... Love the car though However depending on how the Gen 6 Camaro looks and price, I might trade it for the V4.
