Every time I own a car of a specific trim (ZL1, Nismo, etc.) I use the forum for THAT trim car. Like on this forum, I have never even been into the SS or the RS section of this site. WHY it doesn't work the other way around I'll never understand. Like I said, it isn't just this site, but EVERY site I've been a part of it is always the same garbage and it is ALWAYS the people who don't own that trim causing the crap... Blows my mind every time.

With that being said, the Hellcat means that GM will make a faster car in the future. That is it. Dodge/Chrysler products are garbage and most likely always will be. It is nice to see a high horsepower engine in the car because that just means the GOOD/RELIABLE manufacturers out there will follow suit only with better quality/looks.

That's my rant for the day.
+1 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea what the Hellcatforum is. Never been on the non ZL1 side of this forum except to look at led installs and marketplace. Why comment against ZL1s and their owners when you dont own one? Look for my post on the GTR forum later on how much better the Z28 is, my comments will be super credible since i own neither!

Guys, I've had a chance to see (2) Hellcats up close and run at a recent GoFast 1/2 mile event in Ocala. They are very nice Cars, powerful, and BIG on a small rear tire.

I was not impressed on how the car looked or put power down by the owners on a very slippery airstrip on Day 1. Trap speeds were around 135-140 mph and the car was all over the place. I suspect this will happen on the street also in the hands of a average driver.

On Day 2 of the event, a mystery driver jumped into the Lime Green Hellcat and trapped 160 mph in better conditions without the 40 mph crosswind. His name was Big Daddy Don Garlits and he made it look easy. That's when I became a believer. The Hellcat is a BAD Boy and will only get better over time with mods in the hands of a good driver.

Dodge hit this one out the park, but it's not a ZL1.

How many here have forgotten how the GM Dealers were marking up the 2012 ZL1s? I saw several at dealerships marked up at least $10,000 or more for a 'Market Adjustment' and some idiots PAID IT.

People usually tend to make fun of what they fear or what they are jealous of. It's a way of dealing with their emotions.

I'm just sayin'...

I would buy a Hellcat in a heartbeat if I had the extra coin. They are an incredible car, no matter what people think. I'm GLAD Dodge built it.

I've personally seen about 6 to date...
Someone claimed there are 9000 on order.. Not how many have been delivered. According to FIAT, HellFats are on hold will not be delivered until August.. which equals ZERO for those 9000 orders being completed between now and then.

I think they were referring to 1/2 mile traps and not 1/4 mile traps but I could be mistaken.
