It doesn't help that it seems nobody more than 2.5' tall could sit in the rear seats, but to see that(again) has made it seem even smaller.

I think women love convertibles, kinda masterfully calculated in my book.

Most of the TransAm conversions have looked a bit off to me. That one is perfect! Not only does it look like a TransAm should, that commercial is hilarious!

So,
I've seen it advertised that the vert will be available "early 2016". Anyone seen a definite release date stated by GM?

LOVED THAT VIDEO! When I'm driving with the topdown, in my mind I'm Kate Upton without the cheeseburger.

Thank you for posting, that was hilarious if somewhat true.

No. I said "every single wheel" on the new 6th Gen Camaro. That doesn't include 5th Gens, Corvettes, Malibu's or Mustangs

I don't like the generic 5 spokes on 5th Gens, either, which is why I got rid of them.

Just like other things some like them some don't, what is good is if you don't like them then you will be able to get something else more to your taste... That's why there is an aftermarket, right?

You guys are missing the point... Women are already buying Camaro like crazy.

The point I am making is, they made the car look much, much smaller inside than it looks with someone sitting back, seat not crunched up against the steering wheel and head not popping up so high it seems to match height w/ the windshield.

That makes people like me, and millions of other men... wonder if we can actually fit into the car without hurting ourselves. I realize, we can. Millions, however, aren't really car people and won't take a moment to find the specs or even go sit in the car.

They'll judge that book by the cover... if the 4' 11" tall, 100 lb woman looks cramped, the 5' 11" 200 lb (and much bigger) man may think he just doesn't fit and totally avoid the car. Do you guys think GM is specifically marketing the new Camaro to tiny women? ...but I don't believe that was their intent.

So the question is how much will the price premium be to add the complex top with a folding hard tonneau cover?

If GM holds pricing and says hey, it's a way better convertible than the Mustang and they are the same price WOW.

But if GM tries to add premium pricing for a premium convertible then I'm worried.

My guess is that people will pay more for this as it is better. Noticeably better than the Mustang.

But again it seems the last bit of information here is pricing. And something tells me GM is going up market just a weeee but with the Gen6 coupe and convertible.

A convertible or SS buyer isn't exactly entry level and the Camaro has been a weeee bit more. People stand in line to pay more for sizzle and IMO the gen6 has that big time

If I was GM I would keep the price along the same lines as the Mustang. I got my 12 1SS out the door with auto for 36k. I wonder what the 4cyl Vert will start at?
