My Link Settings
I know I have seen this issue before and I am searching and searching this forum for the thread. Also doing a Google search but I am having the hardest time finding the topic.
Can someone point me to the thread discussing My Link settings and issues? I am missing some settings in My Link, like Vehicle settings. I honestly don't know what else I'm missing but while I'm reading the manual, I see there are a ton of things you can configure and I simply can't do most of them. I know someone posted about this but just can't find it...  Thanks for your help.

You can't get into the vehicle settings unless the engine is running.......

Some of my options were "Turned Off" when I picked up my car and it wasn't readily apparent to me how to get them to show up. For instance I could never view the screen which showed the amount of time left on my oil change. Try and get to the page where they are all listed and turn on/off the page by using the center key. Sorry I can't be more specific, it took me a couple of 1/2 hour sessions to figure this out--ce

Do search on You Tube you'll find some instructional videos on the mylink settings.

The engine sound management settings and steering settings will sometimes disappear on mine for no reason. Also I have had the lighting setting color change option not work, then the next time I drove it the settings are back. Its really annoying, and I have the engine running also.

FYI. With the car off hold the Start button (no foot on brake) for 5 secs and you will put it in service mode which activates all systems like the car was running. Good for playing around with setting and features while you learn.
