Secondary CAT delete

Where did you guys go to get your secondary cat deleted??
I live in Southern Cali, and I called at least 6 exhaust shops and all of them laughed in my face and said they dont do cat deletes. Made me feel dumb, I know its not illegal since the first cat does everything pretty much

Technically, still illegal. Especially in California.

Next time call them "resonators" or go to Arizona.

It is actually illegal in California to delete the secondary cats, California is the whole reason the secondary cats are on the car. Up until 2008 GM made 2 versions of each vehicle, 49 state cars that didn't have secondary cats and a California certified vehicle that had the secondary cat. Then in 2009 GM switched over to save money for production costs and then only made a 50 state compliant vehicle.

If its a lease, don't touch anything like that or you'll be charged for it to be fixed later.
