If you were a good husband, you'd keep the 5 gen & give your wife the 6th!

I think GM got it right with the 6th gen. It's a fine line they gotta walk to make the car appealing to multiple generations/tastes. I don't think it looks that much different than the 14-15 refresh so I'm not in a hurry to run out and buy one. I will thoroughly enjoy what I have until I can afford to upgrade to a Stingray.

Sticking with mine too. The 6th is a beautiful car and the LT-1 with 8 speed auto... uh huh huh But I like my car and it will be paid off in a week or two so it gets easier to live with long term once I stop doling out for it like I am now...

It is just too expensive to upgrade to have the latest and greatest and I would need to fork out 30k or thereabouts here in Canada for a comparable SS in the 2016. No sir!

Keeping my 5th Gen for now and waiting until 2017 to see what kind of options get added by then. Also my next new vehicle might not be a car, I'm leaning towards getting a new GMC Canyon as i love the way they look and i'm starting to need a truck again after I sold my last one.

Regardless, I'm going to keep my '12 for a while because I love the damn thing. I smile every time I crank it up, listen to that V8 rumble and head out on the road.

Was already planning on keeping my 5th Gen forever and nothing about the reveal has me changing my mind. I really thought GM was going to shock us with something at the reveal but nope.. I would like to add a 2017 50th Anniversary to my garage but we'll see what they do with it and if I will be able to swing it.

For 55hp and 200lbs I think I will just mod mine with a Maggie and put the car and myself on a diet.

BTW I hate the taillights and why did they go with 20"wheels again?

I thought 19"for sure.

I'm welcoming of the new camaro but I'm perfectly happy with my 5th gen. I think the design of the 5th gen, specifically '10-'13, will be a classic. There's almost too much going on with the 6th gen exterior for MY personal liking but I can see why others may like it.

I like the 6th gen but I couldn't see giving my 5th gen up for one. The new Challenger, maybe. I prefer the "modern muscle" look more than the curvy designs Ford and Chevy are going with.

After seeing the 6th gen my interior just doesn't feel cool anymore. The exterior is hot but it's so boring inside that I can't wait to buy a 6th gen!
