Reminds me when I ordered my '88 Chevy pickup, ext. cab/long bed. It costs $750 to upgrade from the 305 to the 350. I thought that was highway robbery 23 years ago. By the way this pickup was a game changer in the pickup market at the time just like the Gen5 is now in the pony car market.

well i guess you'll be on a skateboard because the foreign cars aren't going to be any different. Besides if you're not buying the 4 i don't know how it affects you.
Better start writing your congressman about that new 62 mpg cafe standard coming.

If a top of the line camaro or corvette gets a v6 then they can kiss their sales goodbye.

The sheer fact that no one's even seen a single spy photo of a test mule or even a sketch of a 6th Generation Camaro yet leads me to believe that 2014/15 is VERY optimistic to have a completely restyled and retooled car rolling off assembly lines.

How long did it take from the time we first started seeing concept drawings of the current car until the first 2010's actually started making it to dealerships? It was a LONG time... 4 or 5 years minimum I'm thinking.

I might be wrong, but I think if there was really going to be an all new Camaro in 2-3 years we'd already be seeing pictures of it all over the 'net.

that was different. you don't usually see a car that long before hand. Heck the Caddy ATS will come out before that and nobody has seen it either.

Dont like it. Looks like a plain jane Camaro and RX8 got bored one day and had sex.

We got teased for a long time on the Gen5 because there was no Gen4 to buy and no money to complete the Gen5. It's all marketing. Why would you start showing sketches of a Gen6 when your selling 100,000 a year? The Gen6 will be under the wraps until the next Mustang comes out and sales of the Gen5 go down the tank........

One more point, have you seen any pictures or solid information on the 2014 Mustang ??? Sales of the current model are good enough to not want buyers to wait for the next model. I'm sure in the year prior all sorts information will be leaked out.

Bingo...

A lot of you were spoiled by the 5th gen's launch. Don't expect to see any early concept sketches released straight from GM for the 6th gen.

Exactly. And I'm betting that's gonna be a lot farther into the future than 2014.
