Heres what I found for 1982 - "Japanese-built cars accounted for 9 of 1982's best cars; German-built cars accounted for the remaining 1."

Hard wrap my head around car's of that time period. They all look like you could mount a machine gun on them and take them into battle.
This probably is one of the most iconic and unique of the era. 1951 Buick Lesabre. On the plus side of being my age, I got to be there during the original muscle car era (high school age) and get to be here during this muscle car era. And I won't have to be here when the internal combustion engine dies and they are all just a memory.

A first year Corvette would be too obvious,
So please throw a V8 in and a straight axle under a 53 Henry J- I'd like that a whole lot more. |
