Should I trade in my SS for a ZL1?
Having a hard time deciding. I have a 2010 SS with 34,000 miles. Was going to supercharge it end if this month but now I'm thinking about just trading it in on a brand new zl1 that I can get for $55,000. Is the extra $200 more a month in payments really worth it? Money is not an issue just deciding if to go zl1 or not

Well if money isnt an issue, why would you not just buy it straight out?

If you want a ZL then do the trade. If you want the speed of a ZL, SC your SS and so some suspension mods, then smoke the ZL all day long.

Interesting dilemma, If I had the extra cash I would have gone for the ZL1, As it is I was at my limit with the 2ss/RS. It's my daily driver and I drive about 20K per year.
Is your 2010 paid off and how much do you think you can get for it. those are things to consider. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you either way.

Resale value will be better on a ZL1 anyway. JMO.

Still owe about $20,000 on the SS. Just want to come out clean on the deal not being upside down

You can land a new Stingray at that price too, have you considered?

Keep the SS
It depends what you are looking for. I have a supercharged SS and my friend has a ZL1 and we have taken them to the Las Vegas drag strip and run them all night and my SS was the winner!!!! The suspension and stock motors verse would be a whole nother story. I have a Magnuson TVS2300, exhaust, intake, 160 thermostat, 3.4 pulley, ZL1 fuel pump and a dyno tune and I have 570RWHP (660 crank HP)and 569RWTQ measured mid Aug in the desert heat so in the cooler air = more power. Really up to you in my opinion, I love my SS and love that people underestimate it. Let me know if you have any questions.

It really depends on what you want and how much you want to modify it. The ZL1 is a getter value than a modded SS. Add $1500 in mods to a ZL1 and you have a package nearly impossible get get off the same money in an SS. This is exactly why I stopped spending $$ on modding my SS and moved to the ZL1. No comparison. Hands down better option.
