That's always been my advise, if you really want to go turbo just run the kit by itself. If your worried about it just don't buy a boost controller and run 7-8psi on the springs.

Turbo setup I would stick with 3.27's for a daily driver. If you want to get more serious about racing I would go to the 3.45 setup so you'd have a locking diff. I wouldn't go any deeper than that. Turbos like load.

My opinion is that for a naturally aspirated, non-power adder, V6 Camaro a rearend swap with 3.45 gears is the setup. 28" drag radial and these gears would have you going through the traps at the drag strip around 6600 rpm in 3rd gear. With a better converter you would probably be around 6800. That means it would be fun on the street!

Rearend unit swap sounds the easiest and most cost effective to me.

That directed to me? Don't I have a locking diff with the 1LS?

Maybe you do. I Can never remember all the differences between models. I know mine has an open diff... I was mostly referring to the ratio.
