If this spoiler/wing comes on the SS, it will help improve the rear view amd makes it looks less like a rental car.

This is the view of the SS, I just can't get over. Doesn't do anything for me.

I also like these wheels and they give the car a little more aggressive look. Will they be an option for the SS?
Yea, I agree! I only like the front too.

I was really excited when I heard about this. I had to move my camaro for a four door. However, after seeing it....very disappointed...just doesn't look good to me.

Yep, Bret Bodine has a rather sweet job with NASCAR. He works in their R&D department, and get to drive and test all the new toys.

The Chevy SS comes standard with LS3 with A6 6l80 trans and weighs around 4000 lbs. There haven't been any recent hands on reviews with the SS as of yet. It's rated at 415 hp/tq and 0-60 < 5sec.

I've got one on order and should get it around the 1st of the year.
here car&driver test against str-8 392 [url]
0-60 4.5 (SS) 4.2 (SRT)
1320 12.9@111(SS), 12.6@114(SRT)
Skidpad.. 95g (SS), . 90g (SRT)
Price as tested. $45,770(SS), $55,150(SRT)

SRT: A retro powerhouse proudly short on grace.
SS: The gifted offspring of a BMW M5 and a Camaro SS

BTW, nice prediction on the car being a failure and being gone in a few years. It will be gone in a few years b/c Holden is dead. It has to do w/ the Austrailan economy not the car itself.

BTW, GM isn't looking to sell a lot of them. Doing so will negatively impact their CAFE ratings. This is all about helping move product to the USA b/c the auto industry is dying down under. They aren't exporting many but they will sell every single one they export. I can back that statement up by saving, aside form auto enthusiast magazines and forums like these, where else have you even heard of this car?

Some folks aren't looking for a car that is as flashsy as the Stingray or the Camaro. Some folks want to blend in, it certainly attracts less attention from the man, that's for sure. Almost no one who sees this car in person knows what it is, and that can be appealing....

I love this car just for that reason. If you know what you're looking at you can see that it's a high performance car. Otherwise it's just blends in on the street. Imagine the fun you can have off the line with people who have no idea there's a V8 under the hood.
