PDIM Questions/Concern - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I recently got the PDIM kit from a dealership then had that dealership install it into my 2012 1LS Camaro and since they have done so my 3.5mm audio jack will not work with my mp3 player. And when i tried to use my iPhone 4 it would connect and charge but not allow me to control any of the music, after taking it back to the dealership and having them fuss with it for a few hours until they closed they came back and told me that my iPhone wasnt compatible but that fact that the audio jack doesnt work now has me questioning them. Any ideas or similar problems/fixes would be appreatiated thanks.

I would like to look into as this may be a frustrating issue for you. Please send me your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage and involved dealership. We have a specific department here that addresses infotainment concerns.

Does it recognize (play audio) from any USB device? flash drive?

Make sure it is on the latest hardware AND software versions. Do a search on the forum there is a thread. it solved a LOT of my issues with mine

OK been awhile since i posted about this, but cars in the local chevy dealership to have them see if they can figure out whats going on. See what they say and how much it costs when its all done.

I would like to know what happens because I would love to get the PDIM install in my 1LS as well.

I don't believe it can be done in a '13, which is sad because it's one of my favorite things I've done to my '12.

they actually make a different pdim component thats suppose to work with the 2013 based on what the chevy dealership i bought mine from told me when they were trying to figure out which one i needed
