Working on some variations.
This one is a slight variation of what I've already been working on. This one is new; a more organic styling where I've smoothed things out all over the place on the top half of the car, and widened the cabin out to the body edge.

Hmmm......I like the first one better. But even with the second one I wonder if you could raise the fender lines or lower the hood to give the fender some character. The one thing I have always liked about my 68 is the top fender line especially driving. I don't know if it would work with your design. Maybe something like they did with the new corvette. Vettes have always had raised fenders but with the new one they have lowered the overall hood area to get the same effect. Looks great.

I've done a more traditional version and tried to keep the front fender line low but this is really starting to look like a 69' Camaro body style.

I can see where this is going .
But I still would have tried to bring the B pilar at least half way out to the fender line , if not 75% Just a thing that I have in mind looks wise |

Here's a version based more or less on the 1967 Camaro which was always one of my favorites. It's a modern interpretation but it has promise. I still need to do some work on the lower half of the car but overall it's got an interesting look.
Since I KNOW somebody is going to try and claim it looks like a Fiero... it doesn't so don't be "that guy" and post that. It also works pretty well as a 1LE: If you like it great; describe what you like if you can. If you don't like it; describe what features you don't like and why; don't tell me what old car you think it looks like because I don't care about that. What I want to find out is what do you like or don't like about the styling features.

I like that last profile shot. It almost looks like it could be an import fighter with a screaming turbo 4 in it. I know that is not what you are going for but it would work.
I tried to give the upper fender some definition, I still like these lights the best. |

And maybe make it the same shape as the grill they are in |

I'm liking this version above now without the side indent like on the earlier ones. It's a bit to much of a wedge shape. Look at the distance from the rear wheel to the top of the fender. Now do the same on the front and there is to much of a difference. Increase the front and decrease the rear and it should have a bit more symmetry.

The rake like from back to front to me is just right If one moves that line to a more level one , you loose that effect , and makes the car look like boxy , and that's something one tries not to do But again it won't hurt to try |

Did some more finishing work on details. Lowered the front fender line just a tad; between where it was originally and the previous adjustment.
Although from low angles it may appear there isn't hardly any curve in the front fender line, in reality there's actually quite a bit.

I like the front the way you did , but still not feeling that bright line ( light ) just below the headlights
On the back , you managed to put the turn signal wrapping around the corner , that was the look that I was going for at the front also The trunk lid looks like could be made wider , so we can have easier access to the trunk , that way you may have to turn the B pillar a little more to the outside The tail pipes in my opinion needs to have a better more modern look/location Thanks for your time around here |

Soft and/or retractable hard tops seem to be such a reliability issue. That would be something the Chevy engineers would have to decide on. How to make that work with crash/rollover safety requirements is something I have no idea what would need to be done. Here are snapshots of the current refinements. Did some styling work on the front grill/headlights area mostly so it didn't look quite so plain, and of course the LED bar under the headlights is gone.
