How small is the island?

I could understand not having too many cars on the island, but why not have people not bringing Camaros park on the mainland and then bus them onto the island?

That is exactly what they do during the Detroit Grand Prix.
The public has to park somewhere downtown Detroit, then take a shuttle to the Island and the Grand Prix.

So far I haven't heard what they'll do for the reveal.

It's not the size of the island that is of issue. It is a state park for one under management of the state. Secondly, I believe GM set the mark at 1000 based on available area for car parking AND limited availability of other accommodations.

I worked on the island. It is quite large..but you are only thinking 500 Camaros...and 1000 people. You'll have another 30 to 40% in support staff and vehicles.

One GM can't just hog up 1/4 of the island for 12 hours without limitations.

Or is it 1000 Camaros on display in the corral, and up to 2000 people for those Camaros. It was my belief that 1000 reservations were allowed, each one allowed to bring one guest.

Plus GM and all their people, plus the normal Island staff.

Don't forget, the island is already set up for the Grand Prix.

We'll just have to wait for further info to be released.

Two more secret pictures were released today. Details about the tail lights and rounded hood are clear. Hood has some nice lines, C7 style.
Also, is the D Pillar much smaller than expected? It would be GREAT!

I bought a 2015 ZL1 but didn't get invited. Couldn't have made it anyway due to work but I thought I might get invited?
