So will it come with a drive in the rain at your own risk clause?

That is just asking for trouble...maybe two sets of wheels/tires?

Im afraid Dark times will come for the ZL1... as the ZL1 will be the Underdog on Power compared to the GT500 and Demon... our only hope is None of them can turn.. and this is not gonna happend... not only because Dodge has shown their interest in building an V8 AWD monster... and the GT500 being an improved 350 with force induction (Twin turbo) and those voodoo engines can EASLY reach 700-800 on a simple TT setup... so yeah It ill turn and pull pretty good... I put my Word on Stone... the ZL1 will become the Underdog on the High End Muscle car segment unless the do something... today 650 hp is not that much

They just released more info. I love it.

http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2017/01/...gets-wide.html

Quote:
This week we’re told that the Demon will weigh more than 200 pounds less than its Challenger SRT Hellcat sibling, a 707 horsepower heavyweight that tips the scales just shy of 4,500 pounds.

Dodge says weight was cut from the wheels, brakes, suspension, steering and interior components. An X-ray rendering of the car in the video highlights all of these areas, plus some sections of the chassis, suggesting a switch to lightweight high strength steel or aluminum parts.

It also reveals what appear to be exceptionally wide wheels, backing up rumors that the Demon will feature a widebody style -- rumors that appear to have been confirmed this week by spy photos purported to be of the Demon that were posted by Instagram user @illegal_machine.

Along with massively flared front fenders, the car in the photos features an air intake that covers at least half of the width of the hood, double the size of the Hellcat’s. Also noticeable are light-colored, almost white brake discs. That could mean they’re carbon ceramics, which would explain some of the weight loss.

More intriguingly, there’s a button on its center stack marked “Racing Fuel” that suggests there’s a built-in mode that optimizes the car to run on very high octane fuel, a unique feature for a mass produced production car, but one that might explain how Dodge is increasing the horsepower of the 707 Hellcat V8 in the Demon.

Guys, don't put your worth in a car lol. Just be thankful that we still get these monsters. I don't care if it's a Kia, if its a two door, RWD, V8, I am in.

Well, that's a very good point.

Which leads me to believe they are aiming this car to compete on a lower level with the COPO and Ford Cobra Jet. Just this one, could be registered and made street legal, whereas the other two... has too much 'red tape' to cut through, in order to get them street legal.

Not happening, just a V6.

I doubt the GT500 will have a TT GT350 motor...I am thinking a detuned GT engine will end up in there.

Fiat/Chrysler is swirling around the drain (to say the least) and all the CEO cares about is seeing how many high-powered, niche vehicles his company can produce. They have no flagship cars. Both the Dart and 200 went down the toilet after years of engineering and tons of money were wasted. The Durango is a flop. Nobody buys minivans anymore. RAM is always third fiddle to Chevy and Ford. The only place they are making money is on the Jeep line. From a business standpoint, these simple-minded decisions are at the very least, illogical and quite perplexing.

Cool, front markers just look like reflective stickers? Must be serious about the weight reduction...
