Drivers race. Your tires will give you slight advantage if you launch correctly.

It's all in your launch...a tune and 3.91+ gears would make things a lot easier for you.

Me and my friends car were set up a lot like this at one point. I don't know if y'all are role racing or goin from a dig but I could win anyway we raced at that point. I wouldn't sweat it just bring home another win for the LS BOYS!!!!! Lol

I also think we will be really close. I was hoping my mods made it a drivers race. |

You'll lose by bus lengths.......OK, I had to say that. Close either way, roll or dig. Without a tune, but with tires, I think that you win on dig but not on roll.

There is something wrong if you dont win. Catback and CAI do not add much compared to your mods. Roll is a sure win and dig is only about launching, where the Muatang have the advantage. Im door to door with a Stingray with the same mods as you.

Definitely a drivers race, especially since your a manual. If you get a good launch, I think you'll beat him.
I raced a 5.0 with a similar setup and smoked him badly- I was running 20" NT555R tires and hooked really well and I never looked back. It wasn't even a close race. But I'm an auto and consistantly pull 1.7 sec 60' without much trouble. |
