i think the point is that most people dd a V6, gas consumption is OK and the cost wasnt too high. But hey, you take pride in your car and want to keep it in great shape, good for you. congrats on getting a DD

People generally don't save their v6s for the weekend, because there really isn't a need to. However, it is your money.
Edit: Doesn't your camaro get better gas mileage than the montero sport? |

Congrats on the DD! I've been able to use my DD to help me move. There are all kinds of reasons to have a DD and preserve your Camaro, V6 or V8. Doesn't matter if others understand or not.

Actually it does.....yet gas milage is not my concern, conserving Mileage and Winter handeling is.....you see I plan to trade up to a 1LE next spring, which will put me at the top of my budget for a car, so I figured purchase my daily driver now while i have the $$$ avaliable, then my 1LE

I drive a Toyota Sequoia, and I 'll tell you , it feels darn good when its raining/snowing/heavy traffic/rough roads/10 places to go in 1 hour.

Montero Sports are great vehicles. Based on the Triton pick-up in overseas markets, it's a bit smaller than a full size Montero. I presently own two of the Gen 1 Montero two doors and a Gen 2 Montero SR for serious off roading/expedition travel.
Don't put off timing belt service! If it breaks, you are toast. John B.
