Stay put. No issue here really.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. What I meant was the new Stingray is a great car that I would not mind owning. I just wish it had more power.

The ZO6 would be the Vette I come home with at the end of the day. There are 3 unspoken for Stingrays on their way to my local dealer here. All 3LT. I could have one by the end of October at the soonest, but again I need more power. I feel like I got so much more for my money in the Camaro for the same 60 grand. I love the look of the car just want a little more juice and the ZO6 should do the trick. Since I do not modify my cars I need to be happy with the amount of power it packs from the factory.

That's my logic also. I have had several opportunities to buy a Corvette. I was beginning to look at them again last year and had even been tempted to buy a pre owned F430 as my retirement present.. I was out looking and when I saw the ZL1 I knew that it was the car for me.

100 more horsepower to carry around and extra 1000lbs...still not sold on the looks of the C7. Though that article with the green one in C&D with Tony Stewart looked good. I don't think you would be disapointed in the performance. It should out perform the ZL1 on everything but seating capacity

Exactly. I love them both. The ZL1 is more practical for me for my son to go with us until he gets older and does not fit. You still do not see many ZL1's around. Plenty of C6 GS though. Very happy with my z and will eventually have a c7 next to it. Really want the next variant of z06(z07) however I think they will probably be around 80's.

Agree C7 in person looks amazing. Was at NYC auto show and between C7 and z28 on display I was pretty happy.

After seeing the white and yellow versions in person I'm leaning toward dropping my ZL1 for one. I kinda interesting in seeing what the new mustang is going to be too though.

Bay Area the dealers are asking for $12960 Processing Options Fee
I think that fee is for the limited edition package that can be ordered. It's the 3LT options with some other stuff (special VIN, etc). I think the above $ is the exact price of that option and it's listed as a processing option.

Yup, found it.

I personally not much of a fan of the new Vette. It looks like a Ferrari or the new Viper (especially from the front). To me it is not very unique looking overall. That and the current option packages are not very aggressive looking. In the C6 Vette the Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1 looked great to me but the base was also boring. I will have to wait and see how the up-market models look.

That being said the tech and performance looks good. Base model will run with a ZL1 in a straight line with only 450HP. The platform looks to have a ton of potential.

Overall I wish my ZL1 was 500-700lbs lighter. It would be a perfect car then. Love the looks/ performance but think of 580 HP and the same suspension with 500 lbs less weight. Can would be insane.

Right now for me ZL1 > than C7

Wow! Even more reason to wait for the ZO6.

Different car than a zl1, so it's hard to compare in my opinion.

I'd definitely take the new C7 over a zl1 for a garage queen/weekend warrior.

BUT, the zl1 is unique because some people use it for a daily driver whereas the corvette isn't practical in that sense.

Those two sure look cramped in there. They mention how GM made an attempt to make it seem "smaller"... so I digress and wonder if it does make you feel like you are in a sardine can? The ZL1 does not do that of course.

Hendrick Chevrolet on Independence Blvd in Charlotte will DISCOUNT the car. Not add $$ to it! Just sayin! Shop around.

Thats for a C7 with pretty much every option and a special VIN sequence. I'm sure once a future ZXX is released it will hit $100k with options.
