So you're saying that with mrc you can go over speed bumps without slowing down? I don't think so.
I test drove both and could barely tell the difference between non-mrc and mrc in touring mode. That said would I have gotten mrc if I had the choice? Yes. Do I mind that I didn't? No.

Plowing speed bumps...No way. To me, non MRC is similar to Sport mode all the time. Tour mode is definitely softer and track mode is definitely more firm.

+ Mosaic Black. And avoid the A8, the M6 is more fun.

Oh yeah, definitely worth it. You can feel the difference in the modes and when cornering.

I Have driven both versions multiple times at work. My best description would be Non MRC is stuck right in the middle of MRC capability. MRC can be softer, or stiffer than Non MRC, depending on your settings.
It is absolutely worth it. To me, it is comparable to NPP exhaust. Do you want adjust ability on the fly?

agreed that MRC and NPP exhaust are must have options

I saw a red SS today without NPP and it was sad

Test drive one with MRC down a side road with a few bumps and minor potholes...start in Tour and quickly switch through Sport and Track while accelerating. You'll know what you need to know...

I think mrc is more pronounced once the suspension breaks in after a couple thousands miles too

I think people with MRC are going to say it's a must have, but you'll have a lot of fun with or without it. Same thing with NPP. It's alright, I'd almost rather not have it, because if you decide you want to change exhaust systems you wasted your money on the NPP.
This car is an absolute blast even stripped, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I know others will disagree but I struggled with this decision went buying my car. Having driven multiple cars back to back on the same roads, sames day I couldn't tell any difference in the way the MRC cars rode vs the non-MRC cars so I kept the extra money in my pocket and bought a Non-MRC car.

To me it wasn't worth the extra investment.

Indeed I am! I have a 2010 CTS-V that has an earlier version MRC setup that doesn't even react as quickly as the current version. I do not need to slow down for most speed bumps in tour mode. (I only have tour & sport mode) Keep in mind that speed bumps are usually installed on streets where the speed limit is usually 25 mph (or lower). So unless you are going 10 mph over the speed limit or the bumps are extraordinarily large, one doesn't need to slow down. It's comical to watch the car behind me when he (or she) thinks they can maintain their speed after watching me go over the bumps and almost become airborne after hitting the bump without slowing down!

Best regards,

Elie

Didn’t waste your money on the NPP necessarily if you get a new exhaust compatible with the system still so you can have it quiet and loud.
