MRC worth it for daily driver?
I'm shopping used 2SS Camaros, 6th gen. Will probably never track the car, just some spirited driving on winding roads. Is it worth getting a car with MRC? Or will standard suspension provide a smooth, stable ride?

yeah, I got a loaded 2SS except for the MRC and the Jacksonville Roads combined with the stock run flats would really vibrate your teeth at times. If I were shopping for a new car, I'd get everything I currently have plus MRC... maybe in Yellow due to the high maintenance to keep the black looking spotless

It depends on your roads. In michigan with potholes the size of VW's we need it.

I've got both cars. You want Mag Ride. Our non-MRC Camaro handles just fine, but the MRC equipped Camaro is the better suspension in my opinion.

The consensus seems to be the MRC will be noticeably superior given what I expect the roads to be like in Canton, Ohio. Would the standard suspension be adequate? That is subjective, and you would have to compare. The MRC is somewhat pricey, but probably reasonable given the technology involved and that there is no way to retrofit the eqpt.

I've had both. I was good with not having/paying for MRC until I got it. Rides better and loves the corners. Also MRC would make the car more sought after when you're ready to get rid of it I would think.

Standard suspension is plenty comfortable IMO.

Thanks for input, looks like I'll go for MRC. Anyone know the codes for MRC, Sunroof, and black rims? I know the performance exhaust is NPP. Hoping to give dealer a list of codes to look for, as I'm pretty open on color, as long as it has what I want

Personally love the MRC. Test drove with and without, could easily tell the difference in those two 20'ish minute sessions. But also probably one of those things if you don't drive one with it, you won't miss it.

No MRC. Test drove with and without. Wasn't worth it to me.

Definitely worth it, if only for allowing you to ignore speed bumps!
Best regards, Elie
