Convertible or Coupe?
I'm now on the fence. If I order a coupe now I'll have around $5K in my pocket.
I currently have a BMW convertible and have the top down 30% of the time. What do you folks think I should do? |

I think you should keep the BMW for your top down fun, and get the SS coupe for your fun driving needs.

30% and you live in California?? I too have a BMW 1 Series ragtop that I only drive 6 months out of the year, but barring any rain, that top is down 100% of the time . Just need to turn on the heat and wear a hat come the chilly CT spring/fall.
My lease is up in May and I plan on going all in on a 2SS DropTop. Hopefully the moons will align on availability. |

Do you need back seat room? From what I've heard from people who attended the reveal there is no back seat room even if the person in front is short..
I need a minimum amount of back seat room (at least comparable) with the Mustang and I think that rules out the Camaro for me... |

Wait a year and save up the money. You'll also have a better chance to get a better deal.

Coupe. Convertibles on 'big' cars don't really work for me. S2000, Miata, BMW, fine. Not even a fan of the old Pontiac G6 convertible either.

Not only will you save 5k but you'll also save a few hundred pounds. I would never buy a vert on a performance car personally.
