Heads, Cam, AFM delete, high-stall converter, bolt-ons, tires, diet. 10 second car - all day.

This will all come after testing the car to make sure all mechanical function is good.

ohh ok thanx for warning me! & also do you think it's necessary to do it or nah?

Depends on what you mean by necessary.

Obviously a tune isn't required for an acceptably functioning car, such as a vehicle coming from the factory, but certainly, like Curr mentioned, that tune from the factory is conservative in controlling the power the engine makes (to prevent knocking) but if a driver consistently uses quality high octane fuel and/or live in high altitude environments, those parameters can be tweaked to allow even more power. But again, a tune is not necessary.

Any exhaust modification downstream of the catalytic converter's and its O2 sensors definitely wouldn't require adjustments to tuning.

But, If you put a supercharger or set of turbos on, you'll definitely need a tune - the engine would have no idea how to deal with positive pressure in the intake manifold nor the signals coming from the modified sensor to support it.

Some will say that even a cold air intake requires a tune. And, technically, they're right. Changing the intake flow characteristics can cause air flow senors to give false readings. Generally the error isn't enough to cause an issue, and the engine's computer has enough room in it's self-adjustment that there can even be a power benefit from it, and thus I'd try a cold air intake without a tune, without hesitation.

  • Black bow ties/flow tie (if it becomes available)
  • Ceramic window tint
  • Strut tower brace
  • Blade spoiler (depends on price, look, and work involved)
  • Wheels & tires (after OEM run flats wear out and assuming OEM wheels are on the heavier side)

You could've ordered them with your order. I ordered my 2ss in August WITH the black bow ties. I am assuming you can just call your dealership and have them order them and put em on before you take delivery.

Yup. A whopping $145. And, you dont have to worry about fitting film, peeling, or chipping paint.

probably but I'd want it to run that in any weather. Might just need a tune and tires to make it happen.

Necessary to get all the power out? Yes. If you don't care about it then no it'll drive just fine.

Depending on the heads and cam that'll be a very low 10sec car. Dare I say possible a 9.99 car with everything being perfect....

That's not a bad price at all.

Just curious, where did you hear about a lowering kit from GM? How does that work? Shorter springs? Will the dealer install this after the purchase?

Sorry so many questions. Ha
