If you want to choose your own spring rate in the rear, instead of getting stuck with whatever comes with a kit - Ground Control makes an articulated weight jacker that slips right into the spring seat in the rear control arm. Gives you height adjustment and you can use any 2.25" race spring.

I've used the BC coilovers on my SC G8GT and they worked awesome. I just lowered mine this time with the Phastek kit and they work great on the street and the drag strip, I was worried they wouldn't transfer the weight, but they are pretty bitchin as I had my best 60' with the NA setup last year of 1.70 60ft. Now that I've gone Maggie and added 150 hp at the wheels and 70 lbs to the front of the car I'm hoping it will still work at the strip. If it doesn't I'll have think about a different spring package.
