Radio goes to fm when camaro starts
Hello there, i just got a 2015 ss camaro today and i was all exited. For only having 20k miles i found lots of little hates with the car. First one being when i start my camaro the radio goes to fm instead of bluetooth/phone. Is there a setting to make it phone first?

Try reading thru this, maybe you will find your answer, looks like you may need to do something with the PDIM module. GL.

I use an iPod to play music through Bluetooth. I turn the radio off before I turn off the car. If you use remote start, by time you get inside, put key in and hit power button on radio, it should go to Bluetooth. Otherwise I turn radio on a few moments after getting in and starting car.

I don't use BT so I can't comment, but otherwise, my 13 will resume where it was set when shut off (ie: AM, FM, XM, USB).

How does "exited" feel? Anything like "excited"?
The reason it does not START in BT where you left off, is because the phone is disconnected when you shut the car off. Still, I would have thought, with a 2015, as long as BT is on, on your phone, it should auto connect to the radio when you start the car up, and just be connected to make and receive calls. You can have the phone connected and still use FM, USB, CD, and so on. Just because it does not start out in BT, does not mean the phone did not connect when you started the car up. Every radio I have had with BT, as log as the phone was paired, and BT is on at the phone, it auto connects when I start the car up. |
