I love my BTR Stage 4 cam. With my set up its very lopey at idle and the car shakes and wants to jump forward when you're sitting at a light. Might not be ideal for everyone, but I absolutely love it. Not to mention its pretty damn loud which is all part of the fun. You gotta remember though, it's not about the miles per gallon, its about the smiles per gallon

I love my set up! All depends on personal preference too. Very lopey at idle, the car actually shakes and tries to jerk forward when you're at a stop light. I personally enjoy all of that. Not to mention its stupid loud, which is a lot of fun too!

But the tight 110 lsa sucks. I would look for something a little more street friendly. Its the opposite of the larger cams, it hits hard at 3000- and pulls really well until 6400ish. Instead of being soft low, and freight train up top.

I have the new TSP stage 3 cam. made 487 rwhp. I average 21.8mpg on the highway and about 17 city. I drive a lot. I have zero issues daily driving it. I absolutely love the looks and thumbs up i get. I have had people stop me on the street to ask about the mods. I love the lopey cam and if tuned right has minimal issues with drivability.

i installed a turbo cam and was tuned when I still had LTs/cai a few years ago, made 478whp and would get 23mpg at 70mph, 21mpg at 80mph cruising on the highway. so it's not impossible to get an aggressive cam and maintain decent mileage, but you'd want a good tuner. my city mileage still sucked tho, probably worse than 12-14, I don't think there's a way around that.

17 in the city? Really? I'm still trying to understand cam specs and I was told to stay in the 113-114 range. Quick question what does it mean when it says 113 +3 (just an example)

The 113+3 is the lobe separation angle or LSA, the +3 is the advance ground into the cam. The old gen 1 Chevy's did the same, they just didn't list it the same way. Usually when choosing a cam from comp cams or someone like that they just stated it was ground on a 110LSA with 4dgs ground into the cam, as most cams back then were installed straight up, but worked best installed 4dgs advance. They just ground the advance in to make it easier to install.
