They look more similar side by side just plotted slightly different/ or thicker lines idk. Maybe the auto graph a bit wider.
It looks about leveled off either way. Maybe another couple hp. Strong runner for sure. |

Have they ran their M6 car yet? Has anybody? I'm thinking 12.50's?

This makes me wonder, what will the SS run next year when it gets the A10? I would think it should pick up a tenth across the board over the A8...should make the drag racers even more happy. 12.2's in the magazines, 11.7x hero runs maybe? (Still hate that term lol)

I'm expecting it to run 12.3-12.4 @ 115 in magazine tests. Fat car for sure. Hopefully S650 cuts some fat or at the very least doesn't gain more weight.

Again, you are making shit up...I for one said on this forum that the updated engine and A10 would make it a drivers race with the A8 SS...which it just about has. I also said it will not help the M6 cars close the M6 to M6 gap as much, that has yet to be determined.

Which would make sense...as the auto SS tests are 12.30's in the mags.

All I can say is Mustang owners are going to be happy with that level of performance from a stock GT. No more mod excuses to compensate

If they make the gearing a bit more aggressive I can see a tenth. Maybe .15. The slightly faster shift speed will be negated by shifting more IMO. And my 8 speed shifts pretty damn good as is Quote:
That weight sucks. But that makes how strong it runs that much more impressive if it’s any condolence lol |

I can go back to an earlier post of mine, which you yourself quoted, where I said (and have said multiple times before) that the new GT with the extra peak HP and especially that 10 speed would close the gap on the SS. You need to dial it back a bit when you say "harder than anyone around here". If you are level headed, you'll also agree that the SS may still have the slight advantage, in that it weighs a good 100 lbs less, and makes better TQ.

torque is alot less important than its made out to be in a drag race...low end torque even more so. |
