Amazon backup camera reocmmendations

Looking to put in a backup camera on my '11 LS. Right now I'll need a kit with a screen until I do a new radio whether it's aftermarket or the MyLink conversion. Was checking out Amazon but there have so many, I'm curious what everyone on here is using and if anyone has any recommendations.

Here's the camera that I bought on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CCD-Waterpro...item4adf8f2e47

It only requires a small hole to be drilled to mount it, unlike some cameras that need a 7/8" one. No problems with it in rainy Oregon. CCD produces a better picture than a CMOS sensor. More info in my Sig link below.

That's the same one I have on my car! Looks great, even in low light areas! The only difference, is I got mine from China, cost me $4.00 .

I really like that little camera wonder if you could send the audio feed to a wifi box to send to your phone just an idea to make it easier than installing another video screen

Just ordered this for my car. I have a camera but no guidelines. This will add the guidelines. http://www.emeraldintegrations.com/c...ra-system.html

Has anybody wired up a camera for the front? I've been thinking about doing that, with curbs being all crazy over here. But not sure how I'd view it, maybe the wifi camera mentioned above?

This is on the front, right? What are you using as a monitor?

Yeah I want to do that some day soon!! Damn curbs keep coming out of no where !! But still haven't figured out a good solution for power in the front and how to send a wire to the cabin..

I just bought a camera to mount on the front end. I was going to use the wireless transmitter. I was thinking of powering the camera off the fog lights with I normally don't use, but to power the screen to turn on with the fog light as well I need to figure out where the in the wiring to run the power from in the cabin. Idk anybody have any other suggestions.

I have a backup camera I'm willing to sell. I bought it for my 2013 1LT and ended up trading that car for my 2015 2LT. Has all the necessary hardware for installation, you just have to get your radio flashed to accept the video source.

Link to where I bought it from: http://gm-navigation.com/gm-mylink-i...ra-system.html

I ran the wires for the front camera along the drivers side and in through a grommet in the firewall under the brake fluid reservoir. There you can pick up power with an add a fuse at the fuse box. Front camera with distance lines was only like $30 from Amazon.
I had curb alert for a while but I did not like it. Too many false positives, I did not trust it.

I personally recommend you before buying anything first read its reviews.
this site list all the product and its reviews and also add complete procedure of how to connect your backup camera.
