Aftermarket EQ for mylink

I have the mylink with Boston Acoustics package. I use my flash drive a lot but since the EQ functions on mylink are pretty limited I really cant customize the sound to my liking. Any small, aftermarket equalizers that can be installed with this system? Install pics from anyone? Console space is limited in this area but I still need regular access to the EQ. Thanks !!!!

Alpine IMPRINT worked great for me, it takes the guess work out, it does it for you! Really smart system you need a pc for it.

Do you want more control just over the factory system .. Or you going to add amps and stuff in the future??

I basically want better control of the system sound. I may add a sub later.. not sure. I'm surprised there isn't a better EQ on mylink than this.

I had all new speakers and sub, all Alpine. 2 amps, one 100wx4, the other 300wx1. I also replaced the stereo with the Alpine Camaro kit. The IMPRINT allowed me to calibrate this system, it basically does it by itself. It sounded amazing!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Alpine Camaro perfect fit kit, but that was in 13'. They are nearly impossible to get ahold of now. I sold mine to a fellow member, nothing wrong with it. I just needed some cash. I installed it myself, the wiring and connections was easy, the hard part was taking the rear seats and plastic off.

Adding an EQ to the stock system requires a very specifically designed hardware signal loop in/out of the head unit which is not possible with any stock head unit (or even aftermarket). GM also designed the stock system with a custom amplifier tune to help counter balance some of the head unit issues. Adding some signal processor or aftermarket equalizer spliced into the output side of MyLink would be on par with replacing the stock door speakers by dropping in $1,600 Focals using the stock amplifier. Can it be done? Absolutely!

The proper method to perform what you are asking is to replace the myLink with an aftermarket radio with a built in 11-band EQ (there are many), but to answer your question directly;

No, you cannot buy an aftermarket EQ to use with myLink.

I was thinking about keeping Mylink. Using FARK, RCA's to a signal processors (IMPRINT PXA-H800). I would swap out the HU, but I would loose my cell calls, and key fob range, better keep it stock.

I'm dying to find an EQ with either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity so I can adjust the sound on the fly from my phone.
