It's a nice car and all, but. . . it's just still way too slow.

I also think its a nice car and great for the masses but too slow if your after Mustang and Camaro level of performance. Still 14.9 from C&D is not bad and is plenty quick for 90% of drivers and should be an easy sell when potential buyers mash the throttle on their test drive. 14.9 was kick ass for the early-mid 90's and was only achieved by performance V8's. If I had kids I wouldn't want them going much quicker then 14.9. If I was 16 I would be in heaven if I had a well equipped 2012 V6 Challenger. I think Dodge did a great job with their new version.

It'll never win any awards for fastest V6, but all things considered it's fast enough to join the rest of the pack (even if it is tail-end-Charlie) now. Where I think Dodge really needs to do (aside from shed some weight) is liven up the interior beyond its current rebadged-rental-car status, and give it a modern transmission including a manual option.

Ummm, agree it is quick enough for it's target audience, but the interior, while maybe to stark (like the classic musclecars) is of very high quality and hardly "rental car". i do agree the V6 needs a manual and can't until the 8 speed auto hits late this year or early next year.

90% of the buyers could give a shit about that. Seriously. Besides, those times are not slow to most people as well.

I can't imagine how much of a slug the V6 makes the big bastard feel

Glad to see they revised the suspension, also. Topping out at $36,000 for a V6 is a little rediculous...

I agree with the ones in red, If they throw a manual in the v6 it would probably sell better, and if they put those 8spd transmissions in the more powerful automatics (RT,SRT8) than they would be good too.

I disagree with the one in blue, those new interiors are pretty "snazzy" if you ask me..
