Nannies

I have read a number of threads where people have said they "turned the nannies off". Google says hold down the traction control button for 5 seconds and that will turn off traction control and stability control. Is this really all nannies off? Will this affect throttle delay?

You can try a throttle controller but they have been known to throw your car in limp mode

I have a throttle controller, not much help at all, mostly a waste of money. Takes about 5 minutes to remove before I go to the dealer.
