You think heated seats will be standard with the cloth seats in the 1SS or do you have to go to the 2SS to get the heated AND cooled seats WITH leather?
Many cars now have heated cloth. And I don't think cooled seats are as important as heated seats. |

Im not paying$40k for a car WITHOUT heated seats and leather. And, those COOLED SEATS, are the best thing Ive ever heard of!

If possible, I'd definitely get heated cloth seats. More practical for a daily driver. |

Do we know what the base 1ss interior surface is made out of yet? Source?
I'm curious if it's a synthetic leather or a true cloth? |

That is a good point. BMW has a very good quality leatherette which can be ordered heated and cooled that's easier to clean and more durable than real leather.

What about a 1ss with Ricaro seats? If I'm not mistaken, ricaros are microfiber/suede like with leather trim? Leather is great and all but I hate how you slide around in leather. At least cloth seats give your back some sort of grip, especially in ricaro! I hate turning a corner in leather seats and your back wanting to slide away from the turn somewhat.

Ricaro is usually a $1500 upgrade

Yeah I totally agree. I have cloth in my 1ss and I love it, its better than my other cars that have leather.

Living in south FL, I feel like heated seats are useless, and cooled seats are brilliant, but I certainly see how someone that lives up north could feel the opposite is true. |

I wish they were never invented, I think what makes me want them is simply the idea of having them because it's an option. So if i don't get them I feel like I don't have the best version of it. If I could get over the fact that cara didn't have heated or cooled seats for over 100 years I would be ok. But since they got them now, gotta have it!!

I need both here! Heated seats in the winter is a must, never had cooled seats before but anything to prevent swamp ass is a good to go in my book.
