Today I learned that you can only use the remote start function twice. After the second remote start, you have to start the car using the start button on the dash. Then the remote start will be reset.

Good to know...

Really? I didn't know that at all, I never really use remote start, but I should.

An easy push on the blinker. Not all the way to engagement gives a three round burst on the flasher so you don't have to turn it off when changing lanes.

Yes, this is true of all GM remote start applications.

I didn't go through all 40+ pages, so forgive me if this has already been mentioned....
  • Radio presets can store phone numbers / contacts
  • If you have Nav, presets can also store addresses / directions

Not just a Camaro thing. Works that way for most late model GM vehicles.

One more...you can change the view and or heading on the Nav map by touching the compass on the screen. I prefer 3D Heading view, but there's also a 2D Heading view and a North Facing Up view. Just touch the compass space to cycle through them.

Today I learned coins if placed next to the shifter will slide down and into the small space right under the air conditioner vents.

Normally I wouldn't place change here however I did place a hospital parking token about the size of a quarter there for a moment to send a text. Seems like the only way to get it out would be to drive up a really steep hill then floor it. FYI

Well as a late entry..... I learned you can adjust the volume with the knob and tap the screen to get instantly back to the normal display. No need to wait (3 seconds) for the volume control to clear the screen.

Was it mentioned that you can edit the organization of the icons on the center screen?

Can display 10 radio presets at once by scrolling up on the display (found out by accident a couple days ago and have owned my SS for over 9 months). Still haven't figured out how to delete presets though.

A couple ways.....
  1. Tune to another station that you do want, then press and hold the preset you want to save it to, even if something is already saved there.
  2. Move the ones you don’t want to the last couple of pages then go into the menu sand reduce the number of pages of presets you want to display. I think the max is 6. If you program the unwanted ones on, for example, page 4, then display only 3 pages...
