What's odd is there is lines on the smooth side (were the smooth idler rides)
Unless those are cut threw lines (very tight tension)

I’m guessing the tension being that tight is not a good thing

LOL, if it's cutting the belt...I would agree. I put a mark in the center of travel of spring tensioner (loose/tight) marked it. Installed belt, rolled it threw, noted were adjustment was (center)

SIDE NOTE: Pic is new belt, belt looks the same right now. NO white (like cords) popping threw.
Roll it over, pull in-between grooves. Is it cutting??

Here is a video of one of my idlers needing replacement. It was the only one that had lateral movement. Not sure if was bearings but Whipple has shipped me a new one that is still sitting in NC with FedEx. Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. I'm not sure about the belt so I'll take a look at mine tomorrow to see if there is any abnormal wear. My initial issue that I noticed was the sound.

LOL Right! You've got to be stoked with all that power there. I'm sure you'll knock out this belt issue pretty quick. Looking do a cam, LT4 HPFP, and injectors hopefully soon here and try keep up with you.

Besides the belt how has it been? Don't believe I've seen a Dyno sheet yet.

I’m actually scared to drive it sometimes got on it last week and in 3rd gear the back end went side ways with e85 it’s at 782 at the wheels. My meth was installed bad so shop had to fix that other than those 2 things and needing some drag radials it’s good

AHHH MAN... That's going to be fun to learn how to drive her all over again. And you did the drop in pistons for extra security. So Jealous. And to top it off you are in Florida where you can actually drive it in the winter. I would definitely do a half mile run with that setup.

Looks the the crank pulley might have had bolt not completely tight possibly was vibrating causing the issue. All the other pulleys were lined up and checked out okay. Addressed the crank pulley and swapped to the green belt. All seems well but only time will tell as this isn’t my daily driver

Great, wobble under groove side. That would tear up a belt. Who installed the pulley? Blue locktighted?
