2016 V6 Automatic with NPP - Dyno Results

Tried searching but it looks like Phastek is the only other thread with a dyno result. I organized a dyno day this past weekend and we had a wide assortment of cars on the dyno. I threw my 2016 v6 on the dyno and was pretty happy with the results.

277rwhp! Not too shabby considering it's going through an 8 speed automatic.

Will update with graph later. I don't remember torque, but I was pretty surprised to see the 2016 v6 automatic dyno'd exactly the same rwhp as my previously owned 2014 v6 6-speed manual. So the difference in RWHP from 2014 to 2016 is about equivalent to the horsepower loss you'd typically see between automatic to manual transmissions.

Figured the post was kinda useless without the graph so I ran out to my car to take a photo.

Good stuff. I remember phastek was having problems topping out or something so they only netted about 240ish. They figured it was about 25-35 lower than what it should be. Good to see someone got it done.

The person running the dyno was well familiar with my 2012 and 2014 Camaros that were both v6 6-speeds and had to be ran in 3rd gear to avoid topping out on MPH.

If my memory serves correctly, he said he kept it in 5th gear for the runs so he would avoid hitting the speed limiter.

I think i confused myself... The 277hp is for your 2016? Or 2014?

This is on a 2016 Camaro v6 8speed automatic with NPP. It made the exact same rwhp numbers as my v6 6-speed manual 5th gens.

Edit: I have to update my signature - I traded my 2014 Camaro in for a 2016 back in June

Edit Edit: I just realized the OP said "2014" where it should have said 2016. Sorry for the confusion.

Interesting! Ok, so a bit low then based on the 335hp (vs the older Gen with less power). I suppose the 0-60 (5.1) and quarter mile significant drops are more because of the lower weight (200-250lbs?) and "better" gearing, than the horse power and torque increases.
