I decided to rename the car Anubis a few days ago, mostly because it sounds a bit more sinister and matches the look. Now that it's looking particularly mean, it's time for some go-fast parts. Been in contact with some people and there's a few pretty cool things in store, and I couldn't be more excited!

Now here's a little more car porn to finish off this post!

Your car looks fantastic! I'm also near the DFW area and to be honest, I have only seen one other Camaro that was hyper blue. I don't know where they are hiding.

Cam, ported heads, intake, long tubes, and dyno tune going in! Was really hoping for this weekend, but the heads may not be here in time. I can't wait!

Looks like it'll be delayed another week or so. We're still waiting on the heads to come in, and they should ship on Monday. Aside from that, everything else is good to go!

Professionally detailed on Friday and looking good! Now, given no more holds it back, Anubis goes in for the cam and head work this next Friday. I should have it back the following Monday, and I can't even describe my excitement!

I'm currently mid-Camaro withdrawal because I dropped the car off for the mods last night. If all goes well I pick it up Wednesday night with cam, heads, headers, intake, and dyno tune.

Also, got some fancy door sill lighting installed last week!

Baseline dyno is done and the car is being torn down tonight! 424 rwhp & 488 ft-lbs of torque. I'm still not convinced he didn't bribe the dyno with a beer or something for these numbers on a bone stock A8 car.

Anubis is ready for the next season at the drag strip! If anyone has followed my thread on the bolt on and NA section of the boards, you'll know that I've had one hell of a time getting this thing done. First shop cut a few corners and ended up not giving me back the car that I had asked for and specifically planned.

Second shop, Baily's Hyperformance in Fort Worth, got it working great! Their dyno read 441/420, but I'm hedging my bets on the dyno reading low. The car is absolutely WICKED now, and I'm loving every second of it.

Dyno is just there as a tool, so I try not to get as hung up on them as I used to. Track times will show the real gains, and Ennis opens back up in February. Anubis did a 12.35 @ 112 as the fastest pass bone stock on stock tires (haven't uploaded that slip to the fast list, keep forgetting), so we'll see what happens. Here's to hoping for 11s!
