[QUOTE=BSFATONOVICH;9376684]No it isn't legal in the people's republic of CA. I consider it my part of rocking the boat. Maybe someday it will be CARB legal. I heavily modified my last car and nothing on it was legal....[/QUOTE/]

Outlaw Camaro Owner in Cali. I love it! I don't know of any CARB approved CAI for 2016 Camaro V6 and I have been searching.

Last I called them they had no plans. Had theirs for my 5th gen, figured to run the same.

I emailed Roto-Fab this week and Jennifer stated the V6 was the next intake system they are going to be developing, but no timeline.

I will start a R&D thread when a timeline is established for the project. It is our hope that the air box for the Camaro SS will fit the V6, leaving only the MAF housing and the inlet elbow to be developed. In any situation, I will keep you guys posted as we progress.

Thanks for your interest!
Michael

I'm glad you liked our 5th gen system! I will make sure you are informed of any progress in our V6 CAI development.

Thanks for your confidence in Roto-fab!

Yes I emailed roto fab 2 days ago and they said that's the next one they're working on. So I hope it won't take too long because that's the only CAI I'll be putting on in my car. Can't wait

Currently deciding if its better to buy the K & N filter now and risk waisting money because a new intake comes out or just wait it out for more CAI to come out. What do you guys think?

I'm waiting for the CAI to come out by roto fab. It's in the works, so you never know when it could be released.

Guys I went to my Chevy dealership and they said GM has the intake system for the V6 Camaros available for $495.00. That seems really expensive tho.

There's post about it already on the 1st page. Consensus is, it has a part number, but no one is taking orders on it yet. And more than likely it will be less than 495 if you check out the vendors mentioned in the posts below.

There's a post about it already on this forum. It's listed but not available for order...
