My guess is that there are more good tops out there. I wonder how many percents of all the convertibles sold have bad tops. Judging by the posts in here it seems to be at least 110% of the cars that have bad tops. Im really tired about reading how bad "my" car choice is all the time. Like someone said before if you want a perfect roof get a coupe if you want a car "without" roof get a convertible. I see my top as a raincover since my car is made for sunny days with top DOWN... :-)

Ok, cool. Now that we have gotten by the rub mark discussion (which I figured would be inevitable), I would love to see more pics (and mileage) of good tops.
It does a body good |

Here are a couple pics of my top.
Car had 250 miles on it. Car had 1500 miles on it. Sorry to say that it's not like that now at 3500 miles on it.

Got a chance to take pics today.
986 miles on it, driven probably 940 miles with the top down. Love this car! Getting the top enhancement and SDM update done Monday.

I like this thread. I have rub marks so I won't be posting pics. But you know what? I drive my car... <gasp!> outdoors... <double gasp!!> on public roads <triple gasp!!!>
I don't expect a perfect car. I certainly don't expect a perfect top on a convertible. When I put the top down, I can't see the rub marks. When I drive the car, I can't see them either, top up or down. Driving this car gives me a ton of pleasure and I make it a point to ensure that outweighs whatever problems there are with the top. |

Please tell me I am delusional but don't I see marks starting where everyone has had issues? I would like to see how they look at 5000 miles....

I thought I saw the same ones, I was assuming that it was a bad picture since he said he didn't have any marks.
