leather seat cracking - how to replace

the drivers side seat (IOM leather) has seen better days. Its the only one with the issue, where do you pick up a new skin and how hard to put on? I wouldnt mind replacing it if its not that much $$

Check with the online GM parts sellers and see if your color is still available. If not a good upholstery shop may be able to replace the damaged panels if they can match the color.

One of my friends got a cover replacement for his 2014 SS from the Chevrolet dealer about a year ago, not sure how much it was though. Matched perfectly.

Probably looking after market or custom at this point. I don't see much of anything available online at like GMPartsDirect for 5th gens any longer.

If your leather seats are started to crack, instead of changing the seat cover, you can repair your original seat covers, in much cheaper than that, and the finish is also not bad on the repaired seats. The seats in my Toyota Supra also started to crack with the dashboard, by I went to the Leather seat repairer and got them both repaired in much cheaper. save money and put new Cams in your Camaro ;-P

A good local upholstery shop can handle fixing/replacing specific areas like that.

Same here, love mine!! The leather is thicker than OEM, that's for sure. Mine is I think 8 years old now, and still look new. Just have to take good care of them.
