Best Intake For Street/Strip

I am currently in the process of intake shopping. I am looking for something that is good for street/strip applications that doesn’t sacrifice torque for high end power. I currently have long tube headers, full exhaust, BTR cam valve lift 631 int. .617 exh, duration 233 int. 250 exh, 113 lobe sep., BTR valve springs 660” lift dual platinum, 650 cc injectors, BBK 102mm TB, Roto-Fab cod air kit and stock intake. I am making 475 RWHP, 452 TQ on E85. Looking to try and get 500 RWHP or as close as possible. With so many intakes out there, I am trying to reach out for those that have real world experience aftermarket units. TIA.

^^^^^ This will be your best bet!! Lots of guys using this one. If you want 500 wheel, you should do a head swap. That'll get you there, or very close to it. Good luck. I'm happy with my 486 wheel..

Does the GPI ported rod mod intake have a 102 mm TB opening?

I run a BO White ported TB on mine, I do believe you can open it up to accept a 102.

If I remember correctly they didn't have good results with opening the factory intake to 102mm and it definitely didn't help anything. I have the fast lsxr 102mm and you can get it with the race runners inside that will move the peak hp up quite a bit but it's definitely pricey.

Ported stock TB and stock manifold unless your cam needed valve reliefs flycut into the pistons.

I have a custom high ram Goertz1 that fits under the hood. I dont notice any dip in TQ or drivability problem. If you do some mileage, stock with rod mod is efficient.

I had a TSP stage 3 cam only back then with the Goertz1 high ram and that combo was very efficient.

Did you have to cut/modify the cowl for it to fit?

I have the LOD X-1 manifold on mine with the TSP Stage 3 cam and it plays very well together. Very streetable and good cruising on the interstate too. Fits under the stock hood with NO cutting of anything. But I'm not sure if you can get one anymore. Numbers in my sig. V-MAX ported TB.
