I just mounted a set of 2017 rims and tires on my 2011 ss. Had to use 5/16 th spacers to clear the brake caliber. I have been unable to get the tpm system to work on the 2011. Tried the manual relearn procedure and tried relearn tool from eBay. Tire shop could not get it to work also. Is there a difference between the gen5 and gen 6 tpm systems ?

Different frequencies I believe.
