Gf is indifferent.
1) She cant drive it because its stick (good) 2) She likes the fact it ride much better than my mustang did. 3) She doesnt like the fact that some nights after work, I spend more quality time on the car than I do on her. She gets plenty, she will learn 4) She knows the car make me happy, its my passion and she is glad I have that passion in my life. 5) If you are reading this, I promise I will load the dishwasher tonight after I get my tune file out. |

camaromike77 I have been very blessed with the old cars. I have inherited all of them except the 67 Pontiac LeMans and the 17 ZL1.

I have been fortunate to have owned some of the finest cars in the world, and the Porsches have always been my personal favorite. My wife has always been indifferent and didn't share any of my passion or appreciation for any previous cars. Trucks are a different matter. Her daily driver is a truck and mine is a custom F350 crew cab diesel dually that she really likes. She has liked most of our trucks Jeeps, sport utes, etc, but never got excited by any of my toy type cars. In fact, she has complained about getting in and out of some of them.
That being said, she really likes the 2SS vert and has expressed a desire to drive it when the weather is really nice. She enjoys driving it and has said she thinks it's a great looking car. The only time she has shown any enthusiasm for a non truck like vehicle. |

My wife doesn't like it. It's just not "her" which I agree with. She drove my 4th gen 6MT for a while years ago and is done with Camaros.
She had a 2011 G37 and 2014 Q60S and I told her it's almost identical (size, options, although the Camaro is faster) but she just doesn't want to drive a "Camaro". And she really likes driving my SS Sedan but won't because she's afraid to ding it or get into an accident with it because she knows how much that car means to me. So she'd rather drive our 1999 Lexus ES300 which is fine with me. She drives about 5,000 miles per year as a teacher that works close to home. |

She's ok to ride in it but hates driving it saying she can't see over the hood.

Yes and no.
She likes it because it is fast and cool looking. She doesn't likr it because it rides not as comfortable as her Subaru Impreza. (Even I drive it in Tour Mode)

I just got my 1LE and part of the reason is that my wife called my 718S Boxster (2017) a miata and said she thought it was boring. A big thing for her is that it was PDK and she believes sports cars should be manual transmission. The Boxster handled like a go kart and was a beast on the track, but it was definitely boring compared to the 1LE.

My wife loves the Camaro. It's stick so she can't drive it but I'm thinking about teaching her.....maybe in a different car though. She always asks to go cruise over to Woodward on the weekends and loves seeing all the cars.
She really wasn't a car person until she was with me. The transition for her started when I was in college studying automotive design and took off after I graduated and had my 2015 2SS/RS then skyrocketed after I traded it in for the 2016 2SS, so I'm glad that has rubbed off on her so we can both enjoy it! |
