Just made my order with Dr Colorchip - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Once I try it I'll come back with a detailed report. I'm *really* looking forward to fixing the stone chips and scratches!

I couldn't find a color code anywhere on my car but both Dr Colorchip and a member on this forum with a black LS assured me that the code was 8555.

Black Clearcoat 41/WA8555

Yeah, thanks for posting a link to the thread where that info was "stickied".

I ordered the most expensive kit as I have a feeling I'm going to be repairing a lot of stone chips with this crappy paint. At least I can sleep easy at night knowing that all those chips are a sign that I'm doing my part for the environment! lol

My dad has it for his '62 white Porsche 356B. He really likes it.

We'll see how it works for my '10 black Camaro

I was contemplating the Dr. Color Chip until I read the smaller kit only covers about 12 chips. I went to the dealer and grabbed a thing of touch up paint. I have a at least 12 chips on my front bumper. Gonna try it out. Anyone have suggestions for method of application to prevent it from globbing up?

That's why I ordered the Dr Colorchip...the brush applicator on the GM touchup bottle is shite and the pen tip didn't work at all.
