This happened 3 times, and I've had the car 5 weeks. After reading through this thread it sounds like there is no solution?

Not that it should matter, but it could matter. I have no electrical mods, key always in pocket and have never had an issue.
I dont have any mods what's so ever and I've had this happen to leave few different times. First time was a few days after I bought it. Then it's happened to me a couple times since the. Over the last 3 1/2 months. Nothing special that I've done for this to happen, well that I know of obviously lol. I keep reciever in my pocket and second one is in my house. I'm going to tell them about this problem along with the rear end groan. I'm also going to tell them about the problem I've had with the remote start, sometimes when I use to the remote to start it won't let me change interior light color, and it doesn't show the temp or audio sound level on touch screen when your changing it. All little problems that I shouldn't have to deal with on a new 42K car that's got 5500 miles. Plus a lot of these problems have happened from more or less the beginning of ownership

It's usually a radio frequency interference issue. It hasn't happened to me again in a month. But, I am not going to park in that same spot in front of the entrance to a certain store again.

Lucky me, I get to join this club after today's problem. FOB not working, even when I put it in the cup holder. I also notice my trunk button on the FOB only works occasionally when pushed to open. I can't believe that so many people are having problems with the most fundamental of things and there is no fix.

Hi Everyone,

It is unfortunate that this will have to be my introductory post on this website as I just bought a 2017 Camaro 2SS in Hyper Blue not even a week ago. Tonight I went to the store and when I came out my car would not unlock. I pressed and pressed the buttons on the fob and nothing. I used the Onstar app and it unlocked my car so I concluded it was the fob. Once inside I did not know about the fob in the cup holder but when I pressed the start button the DIC told me to put it there since it could not be detected. I put the fob in and the car started right up. Fob started working like normal again. Figured maybe the battery in the fob was bad so I went ahead and replaced it but now this thread has me a bit worried that it may something completely different.
