Vortech V-3 Si = Bolt-on 120ish rwhp
Had the chance to see how my buddies 2016 Camaro 2SS is doing with his Vortech V-3 Si tuner kit setup. His car was one of the first to get a kit on and the original tune was trash. Car made maybe 60-65 more rwhp total and was detonating all over the place and feel flat on its face in the mid RPM range with the tune Vortech put on the car.
He took it to Cunningham Motorsports and Ryne dialed her in and we saw gains of just over another 60+rwhp on top of the original tune and the car pulls like it should now. Overall the below video is long, it highlights going down to see the car at CMS, a few pulls and drags and just the overall day checking out his car. If you want to bypass the day and get to the meat of it.... Cars base line is unknown on the CMS dyno, but most manuals put down 388 on their heart breaker stock. She was in the 458 range on her base pull and the dyno sheet looked like a roller coaster (this was with the Vortech tune) once CMS was done she was at 508rwhp and 466rwtq and the sheet looked like it should Some rolling shots can be seen at 9:06 and a baby side by side roller at 10:26.
