Why do a lot of people hate the Camaro!?
seriously i don't know why a lot of people hate the camaro, hate the styling, hate the perfomance, i mean really there is NOTHING to hate about it. Lots of people say that the camaro is a piece of crap bulky muscle car. Nothing turns more heads around than a camaro, the sight and the sound of it is something that doesn't go unnoticed...so why do so many people hate this car so much? specially the 2014 (which i think is damn gorgeous). So what'd you guys think?

Idk about hate but some people dislike how heavy it is. Also I hear they don't like the lack of visibility in side the car. All a matter of opinion, I love it so that's all that matters.

I think it has to do with Camaros being popular with the mullet-folk in the 80's.

Because everyone has their own tastes. It's not going to be for everyone. If they don't like it, that's fine. I do, and that's really all that should matter in the end.

Strange, I only get compliments from people on mine. Hell, I even get more waves from Mustang owners than Camaros driving past on the oncoming lane...lol.

Look at the amount of contention within the Camaro community itself. 1st gens are Elitists and none of the other generations stack up, 2nd gens try to side with 1st gens while late 2nd gens are just living off the rep of 70-72 while packing sub-200hp 350's. 3rd gens are the red-head step-child that everyone hates and the drunken 1-nighter that you hope nobody ever finds out about, 4th gens would be with 3rd gens if it wasn't for the LS1, and 5th gens get crap because of their weight and the "Government Motors" nonsense along with the retro design that doesn't sit well with some. Now that's just within our own!
And it's not just us. There's as much Mustang and Charger/Challenger hate coming from us and Ford guys. Throw imports into the mix. It's the nature of the beast. I only have issue with any of it once it becomes vandalism. That's going way over the line into just being an A**hole. Quote:
